Archpriest Nikolai Babijtchouk, rector-emeritus of the Church of All Saints in Pine Bush, NY, passed away after a severe injury and extended recovery. Born on October 10, 1957, in Kizya, Ukraine, he was the eldest of six children. After serving in the navy, he married Ekaterina Dudchak in 1979, raising three daughters: Tatiana, Elena, and Olga. Ordained a deacon and priest in 1985, he became rector of the Church of All Saints in 1989. His devoted service earned him many honors, including the right to wear a mitre in 2010 from Patriarch Kirill. He is survived by his wife, daughters, seven grandchildren, mother, siblings, and mother-in-law, and was predeceased by his father in 2014.
